Maja Tofteng is senior consultant at DAMVAD Norway. She has considerable experience from projects related to market development, trade and enterprise policy and  internationalization within many different sectors. Maja came to Damvad from a position as a senior advisor in Innovation Norway in Germany where she offered market analysis and advisory services to Norwegian companies and networks. Prior to that, Maja worked as a consultant at Econ Pöyry  where she worked on analyses within energy, environment and climate. Maja has a master's degree in economics from the University of Freiburg (Germany) and a Bachelor in Business Economics and Administration from INSEEC in Paris and Oslo University College.

    A new DAMVAD analysis shows that the productivity of green enterprises is at the same level as the productivity of comparable, non-green enterprises. Furthermore, green enterprises belong to a group of highly productive enterprises in Denmark.     The mapping of Danish research in ICT shows that the Danish researcher holds knowledge strongholds in four out of 27 ICT related areas, and that the Danish research community performs better than the OECD average on as many as 20 out of 27 areas.     A new report from DAMVAD concludes that it is possible to increase the value added in the forest-based industries in the coastal region of Norway. The analysis show that the forest owners and different parts of forest-based industries in the coastal region are less interconnected than in the rest of Norway.     An evaluation of the research program, NABIIT, which funds research in nanotechnology, biotechnology and ICT under the Danish Council for Strategic Research, shows that the scientific quality is high and several projects have delivered scientific break-throughs. Yet, the number of technical breakthroughs is low, and commercial benefits of the projects limited.     report from DAMVAD shows that 96 % of graduates from the two-year master programmes of the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) think their education was of high quality. The study also shows that graduates are sought after by businesses and 93 % are working full time.     An evaluation of the certification scheme developed to ensure quality in modules in the Public Management Education (Den offentlige lederuddannelse) shows, that the content of the modules is relevant, but only half of the managers find that they have become better managers.
